Used Metronix ARS 2105 servo positioning controller (serial no. 000100). Compact digital AC servo drive from the ARS 2100 series for single-phase 1×100…230 V AC ±10 %, 6.4 A, 50–60 Hz input and three-phase 3×0…270 V AC, 5 A, 0–1000 Hz motor output, with maximum surrounding air temperature of 40 °C as indicated on the nameplate and described in Metronix technical documentation. Typical rated power is around 1.0 kVA with up to 10 A peak output for short durations, and the controller provides active power factor control, 24 V DC control electronics supply, flexible digital/analogue I/O and a universal encoder interface (resolver, incremental, SinCos and absolute encoders) depending on version. The unit shows normal cosmetic signs of industrial use on the housing and connectors and was removed from a working machine; it has not been further tested by us.
