This privacy policy informs you, in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which personal data we process when you visit this website, for what purposes and on what legal basis, and what rights you have.

2. General information on data processing
We process personal data only where this is necessary to provide a functioning website along with our content and services, or where you have given your consent.
The legal bases are in particular Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures, for example enquiries about spare parts and services), Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation, such as commercial and tax retention periods) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating the website securely and appropriately).
Personal data is deleted once the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention periods prevent deletion. Commercial and tax retention periods are generally six or ten years.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus, which processes the data arising when the website is accessed on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.
Each time a page is accessed, the system automatically collects and stores the following in log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file requested and volume of data transferred
- referrer URL from which you reached the page
- browser type, browser version and operating system
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in delivering the website, ensuring system security and investigating misuse. Log files are deleted or anonymised after 30 days at the latest.
4. Cookies and consent
This website uses cookies and comparable technologies. Technically necessary cookies, for example for language selection (WPML), the shopping cart and security functions, are used on the basis of Section 25(2) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; they are required for the website to work.
Cookies and services that are not technically necessary — in particular reach measurement and embedded maps — may only be used with your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
You can configure your browser to store cookies only after confirmation, or to refuse them entirely. If cookies are disabled, the functionality of this website may be limited.
5. Contact form and email contact
We offer contact and request forms on our pages (general enquiries, support, used equipment and spare parts). They transmit your name, your email address and your message, together with the time of submission, and, where you provide them, your company, your telephone number and details of the equipment or parts concerned. To protect against spam, the forms contain a hidden field and check the time between loading and sending the form; no further personal data is processed for this. You can alternatively reach us by email or telephone.
We process this data solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to concluding or performing a contract, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Messages submitted through the form are sent to us by email and additionally stored in this website’s database (the Flamingo plugin). We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply.
We use a Google service for sending email (Google Workspace / Gmail, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). This may involve transfers to the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
To protect our forms against abuse and automated submissions (spam), we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When a form is loaded, technical data about your browser and device as well as your IP address are transmitted to Cloudflare and evaluated there to check whether the input comes from a human. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our website against abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); accessing information on your device is strictly necessary under Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG to provide the form you requested securely. 6. Spare parts shop and enquiries
Our spare parts catalogue runs on WooCommerce. Browsing and filtering the catalogue is possible without providing personal data.
No online payment is currently set up; orders and price enquiries are handled through the contact form, by email or by telephone. Where names, company details, contact and delivery data are provided, we process them to prepare quotes and perform contracts in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Technically necessary shop cookies (for example cart and session) are used on the basis of Section 25(2) TDDDG.
7. eBay marketplace
We also offer some of our items through the eBay marketplace, using the Eselt interface to synchronise listings. Item, stock and price data is transferred; personal data is processed only where required to fulfil an order placed via eBay.
eBay is the controller for processing your data on the platform itself, where the privacy notices of eBay Marketplaces GmbH apply.
8. Reach measurement with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (integrated via the “Site Kit by Google” plugin). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies that allow your use of the website to be analysed.
The data collected includes pages viewed, time spent, approximate location, device type, browser and the source of the visit. Google Analytics 4 derives the approximate location from the IP address but does not log or store IP addresses.
The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TDDDG. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
Transfers of data to Google LLC in the USA cannot be excluded. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. The browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout additionally prevents collection by Google Analytics.
Data collected in Google Analytics is deleted automatically after 14 months.
9. Google Maps
On our contact page we embed maps from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to show our locations.
When the map loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google; if you are signed in to Google, the request may be attributed to your account. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TDDDG.

10. Comment function
Where the comment function is enabled for posts, we store your comment together with the name and email address provided, the time of submission and the IP address. We process the IP address to protect ourselves against unlawful content and to detect spam.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR. Comments and the associated data remain stored until the comment is deleted or you ask us to delete it.
11. Other services and processors
To operate, maintain and secure this website we use service providers that process personal data on our behalf pursuant to Article 28 GDPR:
- Hostinger International Ltd. (hosting and content delivery)
- ShortPixel (image optimisation; ShortPixel SRL, Romania)
- ManageWP / GoDaddy (remote technical maintenance of the website)
- UpdraftPlus (creation of website backups)
- WPML (multilingual operation; storing the selected language)
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in a secure, up-to-date and efficient website.
12. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Your data is disclosed only where this is necessary to perform a contract, where you have consented, where we are legally obliged to do so, or where we engage processors under Article 28 GDPR.
Where data is transferred to the USA (Google, Cloudflare), we base this on your consent, on the recipient’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
13. Your rights as a data subject
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- access to the data processed (Article 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Article 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21 GDPR)
- withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Article 7(3) GDPR)
An informal message to the contact details in section 1 is sufficient to exercise your rights.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.

This website uses TLS encryption, recognisable by “https://” in your browser’s address bar, so that the content you transmit cannot be read by third parties.
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy if the legal situation, our services or our data processing change. The version published here at the time applies.
