Full refurbishment of Falcon modules
One Falcon developer module we refurbished had been in production for over 10 years and was badly worn. We took it apart into its assembly groups, stripped it to the empty shell, decontaminated it, exchanged all valves, tubes and fittings, rebuilt the developer arm with new stepper motors, spindles, slides and bearings, and calibrated it. Because the MMC software lets you take a defective module out of the process flow, the rest of the Falcon can stay in production while a module is being refurbished.

Can the Falcon keep running while a module is refurbished?
Yes. The MMC software lets you take a defective module out of the process flow, so the rest of the Falcon can stay in production.
